				<description>&lt;p&gt;July 10 – Eagle Project at Kidspace Museum 8am-Noon &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;July 12 - Monday Meeting 7:00pm – Secret Destination – Boy will follow compass/gps directions and hit upon a cool place! &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;July 17-21 Backpacking, Mammoth area-three days of backpacking in the wilderness, moderate hiking, great photography, and all the fishing you want. &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;July 26 - National Jamboree starts, AP Hill, Virginia&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;July 26 – Monday meeting, Merit badges and class advancement&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;August 2 – Monday Meeting 7:00pm – Nerf Wars! Bring your nerf weapons, team up and join the fun in this 2nd year war game.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;August 8-14 – Cherry Valley, Catalina Island; wazzu!&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;August 16 – Monday Meeting 7:00pm – Get ready for school with a science project: Explore Newton’s 3rd Law of Motion with an experiment involving placing H2O in a container of elastic synthetic substance and quickly having the matter released due to the introduction of force. (someone may get wet!)&lt;br /&gt;

				<title>Jason Bunn’s Eagle Project July 10th</title>

				<description>&lt;p&gt;Jason Bunn’s eagle project will be from 8:00am to Noon on Saturday, July 10 at Kidspace Museum in Pasadena. He will be constructing and planting six raised gardens.  Lunch will be provided. Kidspace Museum is located at 480 N Arroyo BLvd near the Rose Bowl. All scouts are invited to help out. Whether you need service project hours or not, this is a great summer project to help out on and work with your fellow scouts. &lt;/p&gt;

				<title>Court of Honor Friday June 18 Wilderness Park</title>

				<description>&lt;p&gt;Starting at 6:00pm this Friday, June 18 Troop 21 will be honoring those that have advanced in rank or have earned merit badges in the last quarter. A pot luck of salads and deserts will accompany the troop provided hot dogs and hamburger barbeque. A troop group photo will be taken at the so scouts and ASM’s are requested to be in full uniform. &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Following the Court of Honor campfire, scouts are invited to camp overnight at the park. Saturday morning scouts will cook breakfast and compete in an orienteering course competition.  The cooking will satisfy Tenderfoot and Second class requirements and the competition will satisfy a First class requirement for those that need it. For those that don’t, the competition will satisfy your competitive spirit. &lt;/p&gt;

				<description>&lt;p&gt;Congratulations are in order for Nick Paulson who became Troop 21's newest Eagle Scout on Monday, June 7th in front of an Eagle Board of Review consisting of many past troop scoutmasters. Nick is our 103rd Eagle. He will be attend Pepperdine University in the fall.&lt;br /&gt;

				<title>Centennial Celebration Jamboree (CCJ) May 21st Weekend</title>

				<description>&lt;p&gt;CCJ is from 4:00pm Friday, May 21 to 1:30pm on Sunday, May 23 at Bonelli Park in San Dimas. Meet at PazNaz parking lot 4:30 pm Friday. Kayaks that are to be transported together should be at PazNaz on Thursday, 6pm for loading.  Scouts are to wear their Class A uniform over their Class B T-shirt on Friday. Class A should be worn all day Saturday except at the waterfront. Be sure to bring water shoes. &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;This is the event of the year! Our troop is in charge of the T21 Kayak Club – oops, I mean CCJ Plywood Regatta. It will be fun to see all the Kayaks on the reservoir.  There will also be competitions, merit badge classes, a climbing wall, and shooting range. All jamboree events are open to all and are from 9:00am to 5:30pm Saturday. &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Saturday night from 8:00 -9:30 is a professionally produced inspirational stage show open to all – including parents. Sunday will wrap up a 2-3 hour service project (9-12). This will fulfill the Second and First class requirement, and help in the Star and Life service project requirement.&lt;br /&gt;

				<title>RED ROCK CAMPOUT MAY 14-16</title>

				<description>&lt;p&gt;The troop will be heading to the Red Rock camp grounds in the Santa Ynez (Santa Barbara) area Saturday morning, May 15 and return home May 16. The campsite is available to those that want to go Friday night May 14. This is a car camping event. Cost is $5 per scout, no charge to adults. &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Scouts can work on their tenderfoot, second, and first class advancement, others can work on their eagle required camping merit badge or previously learned skills that will be tested at the Jamboree the week following. All will enjoy the afternoon swim in the back water hole (no kayaks). No hike is planned.&lt;br /&gt;

				<title>Lake Silverwood Outing Saturday and Sunday, April 24-25 </title>

				<description>&lt;p&gt;We will be meeting at the Church 7:30am Saturday, April 24 to caravan to the Lake Silverwood Recreation Area near Hesperia.  This is a car camping outing. Patrols will be preparing Saturday night dinner and Sunday morning breakfast. Saturday lunch is on your own.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;We will be working on rank advancement and skills needed for the May Jamboree. We will also be water testing the kayaks the boys built. Transportation of the kayaks by the troop is available if you have it at the Church Saturday morning.&lt;br /&gt;

As an incentive, you will receive one drawing ticket for each book donated or returned. A drawing will be held at the last meeting of the month. The name drawn will receive a $4 Baskin-Robbins certificate. You can check out or return/donate a book 7:00-7:30pm at the regular Monday night meetings. &lt;/p&gt;
