Pasadena Marathon March 22

Did you miss signing up for the Pasadena Marathon Bike Tour last year? Good news! You get another chance. The marathon/ride has been rescheduled for March 22, 2009 and T21 is riding again. We already have a nice group of cyclers and hope you and your parents can join us.

Sign up online at pasadenamarathon.org and then come out and get in shape at our weekend rides around town. We start riding at 8:00am either Saturday or Sunday. We begin in the Rose Bowl and then venture off to interesting parts of Pasadena.

Joshua Tree/Rock Climbing Jan 17-19

Joshua Tree National Park is just northeast of Palm Springs. Our camp area will be Indian Cove Campground. Travel east on 29Palms Hwy/Hwy 62 towards town of Joshua Tree. Staying on Hwy 62, about 9 miles east of Park Blvd. turn south on Indian Cove Rd. Rock climbing will be through the services of Sierra Rock Climbing School/Joshua Tree Guides. Registration and release forms are required (http://joshuatreeguides.com).

The boys will meet at PazNaz 8:00am Saturday morning, camp out for two nights, and head for home around 10am Monday (school holiday). Great time to work on 2nd Class requirment 2 and First Class requirement 4 as well as the rock climbing merit badge. See Mike Sumner for details and sign-up.

Scott Ma's Eagle Project January 24

Project will be to beautify the entrance to Eaton Canyon Nature Center located at 1750 N. Altadena Dr. Time is from 8:30am to 1:30pm. Bring work/gardening gloves as this project involves gardening (access to a vehicle that can carry rocks would be helpful-contact Scott). Breakfast and lunch will be provided. Come out and have fun while supporting Scott in his Eagle endeavors

Scout Sunday Feb 15 at PazNaz

Date Change: Sunday, February 15 at the 10:30 service our sponsor will recognize the fine work of Troop 21. Scouts are requested to show up in dress uniform and meet at PazNaz at 10:00am.
