Feb 16th Meeting at Pasadena Museum of History

The regular weekly meeting on Monday, February 16 (Presidents' Day) will be held at the Pasadena Museum of History located on the southeast corner of Walnut and Orange Grove. Meeting will run from 7:30pm to 8:30pm. There will not be a 7:00 merit badge session.

Since the next outing will be the weekend following, call Dominic Bernardi, Troop Quartermaster, to make arrangements if you need to check out equipment, or equipment that has been checked out needs repairs.

If you have not already made a donation to Friends of Scouting, please do so by the next Monday meeting (February 16). If you are out of town due to the holliday, please mail your donation to Lori Putnam at her home address.

Checks should be made payable to SGVC-BSA. Credit cards are also accepted. We are looking for 100% participation from our Troop.

Your donation goes towards operating the San Gabriel Valley Council. The Council depends on our donations. They do not receive operating funds from the National Boy Scouts of America. For more information call 626-351-8815.

Gould Mesa Campout Feb 20 & 21

Gould Mesa overnight campout starts this Friday, February 20 at 6:00pm. Our drop off point is about 3/4 mile past the La Canada Golf Course entrance on Angeles Crest. The hike in is about one mile.

Pick up will be the next day at around 5:00pm at the Windsor and Ventura Street entrance. Take Windsor exit off the 210 freeway, head north about one mile just prior to the forced right turn (Ventura Street).

Campsite has vault toilets and stream water that needs to be treated before using. Elevation is 1500 feet. Need to plan for Saturday breakfast and lunch. Cooking Friday night dinner optional as is campfire dessert (see Recipes/Car Camping/Dessert)

Congratulations to Patrick Flinner

We are proud to annonce that Patrick Flinner has fulfilled the requirements of Eagle Scout. He completed his Eagle Board of Review Monday night February 23. Congratulations Eagle Scout Patrick.
